What time does the race start?
The 10km adult race starts at 10:00 am, the U16 Junior 4.5km Race at 9:00 am and U12 2km Fun Run at 9:05 am. Please allow enough time to park and collect your number and timing chip from the race registration HQ.
Are the numbers posted out?
All numbers and timing chips are collected on the day. Not only does it keep the cost down it helps ensure that no one is lost on the route.
We can check that everyone has finished safely although we will also have a sweeper following the last runner. You must ensure you return your timing chip after the race.
What is the course like?
The race takes place entirely within the picturesque grounds of Trent Park Country Park, Enfield. The course takes in grass and path, woods and open fields, a few hills and some fast tarmac, but all within Trent Park.

Is the race chip timed?
The race will be chip timed. All results will be posted online and you can check your time as soon as you finish.
How do I get there?
It is easy to reach the race on public transport. Cockfosters station, on the Piccadilly Line, is almost next door to the entrance to Trent Park (the other side of the BP Garage). It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the station to the start area. The park is also served by several bus routes.
For those driving, parking is available on site. Trent Park is located just 2 miles from Junction 24 of the M25 to the north and 3 miles from the North Circular to the south. Use the entrance on Cockfosters Road to access the race and parking.
Are there any water stations?
There are several water stations on the course and you will be provided with a bottle of water at the finish.
Is there somewhere to store bags (baggage drop)?
We offer a baggage drop to store your bags. Ideally, all your items should be in one bag and this should be fully closed so nothing can drop out. This can get busy close to the race start. Therefore, you are advised to store your bag early to avoid the queues.
Please note, as, with all races that offer this facility, we do not accept responsibility for any missing or damaged items or possessions.
Will there be first aiders present?
We employ Event First Aiders who will be available throughout the race in the start/finish area. We also have a professional mobile service to get first aiders and emergency responders out on the course should the need arise.
Is event approved and licenced?
The relevant license has been obtained from Enfield Council and we will also have a race licence from The Trail Running Association.
If I am unable to run can I transfer my number, get a refund or defer?
In the event that you cannot take part in the Triffic Trail our race licence stipulates that your number cannot be passed onto anyone else on the day. We are also unable to give refunds or defer your race entry for another year.
However, you can transfer your place before the closing date. You can manage this transfer by logging back into the entry system.
How do you use and what do you do with my personal data?
The data you supply via the entry system is held with them prior to the event and for up to 6 months after the event to enable them to deal with payment disputes, etc.
We hold this entry information for up to six months after the race to enable us to deal with any queries. We do not have access to your payment details, card numbers, etc from the system.
You will also be subscribed to our mailing list so we can provide you with race day details, and the results. In this list, we only hold your name, email address and the year you ran or are running. You can unsubscribe from this list at any point by following the links in the emails.
On our website, we just hold the results, so name, club, gender, age groups as well as your times. We do not supply your personal data to third parties.
If you have any questions about the data we hold, would like your data amended or removed then please let us know.
Are headphones permitted?
For the safety of runners, marshalls and members of the public we advise against the use of headphones but will permit bone conduction devices. Marshalls will need to provide verbal information and instruction in certain places, please be sure to pay attention.
Are dogs allowed to take part?
Due to the number of runners in restricted spaces, dogs will not be permitted in the race.
Can I run with a buggy?
The route has been assessed as not suitable or safe for buggies or wheelchairs.
